What fascinating news from the new homestead. Actually it has to be more interesting than life in our old apartment, no? I guess you'll be the "judge" as we go along here in Tahoe (Since my Mom is no longer the "judge" haha!).
So today the pest control guy came to do some spraying of some wood under the cabin, that has some fungus or something on it. Geez what a tough job! This young guy (Jake) had to put on overalls and crawl on his belly under the cabin to spray the stuff to fix the problem. Good Lord, I hope if I have to be reincarnated, if that exists, I hope it's not to do that job. What the heck!
However, my Mom really likes Jake. He's young (going to be 30 this Saturday on his Birthday) but boy he sure knows his stuff and he has such confidence in what he's saying. Not phony confidence but real "I know what I'm talking about confidence"! Wow, he's impressive. He even took his overalls and shoes off when he came out from under the cabin! Which Jeff, his assistant, helped him with. VERY VERY impressive!
I've included some photos of Onyx both inside and outside of the cabin. She is definitely on top of her job of sticking her nose in everybody's business as they help my Mom to take care of our new home.
More fascinating news to come! Hope you like the journey!
