A Bean Bag Toss But With Bread.

First, we have to share a few photos.  The first one is from my Mom's friend Evelyn, she's another New Jersey Judge and one of my Mom's travel friends.

The photo was sent to her from her niece Donna Alvino. Donna is an absolute animal lover.

She tosses bread to the deer who come to her property and this day a slice was caught on the deer's antler!

Donna said that if she was paid to do that, it never would have happened.  We love this photo.

Secondly, this morning, Robin, my Mom's sister, sent a photo of a little chipmunk on the head of the Buddha in Robin's yard.

That photo was a pretty sweet way to start the day.  And, that chipmunk couldn't have been in a more peaceful setting to ingest his or her breakfast.

My Mom had her hair cut today by Brian, her favorite hair stylist at Studio Four.

Afterwards, she stopped in to see Linda who owns Focus on Interiors, right next door.

My Mom had Linda make some dresser scarves for the cabin a few months ago but today my Mom noticed a pillow made from the same material.

My Mom of course had to buy it.  It's the yellow pillow on the sofa, in the front of the hundred others there.

Linda says you can never have too many pillows and of course my Mom agreed.

We're going to Napa next week with my Mom's sister, Robin, to stay with their brother Mark and his wife Barb.

Onyx doesn't know it yet, but maybe she has an inkling since Cayla (our neighbor and cat sitter) came over for a visit this morning.

Onyx jumped off her perch when Cayla came in and then marched away without incident.

We're hoping Onyx behaves herself with Cayla when we're gone.

Onyx plopped herself down for a sunbath after Cayla left.  If she knows my Mom's leaving, she didn't act like it.

Onyx usually plays her hand close to the vest, if you know what I mean.

God only knows what she thinks about or if she is thinking.  No offense little girl.

Thanks for traveling this path with us!
