August 15, 2024 Getting away to Napa wine country! A special wine and beautiful vineyard!
We're poolside in Napa this week! SHHH! Onyx is home with Cayla taking care of her,
I'm pretty sure she's not happy!
Sorry Onyx, but boy is this place nice!
We're at my Mom's brother's timeshare (Mark and Barbara's),
at the Meritage Resort in Napa, California.
And, by the way, the air is so nice here, it feels lighter than at Lake Tahoe!
And, the sky is very blue, which IS very Tahoe! And there are rose bushes all over the complex!
This week, Robin (Mom's sister), my Mom, and brother Mark, walked through the vineyards here at the resort.
So beautiful!
The vineyard grows grapes for their TRINITAS label. My Mom bought the specialty Pope Francis wine for all to share.
This is Pope Francis' favorite Trinitas wine!
She's hoping there will be a special blessing that comes along with it.
As to the vineyard, my Mom sent photos to her former business partner, Sandy, who is perfecting his own vineyard in New Jersey.
Sandy is the town judge in New Milford, NJ, and he officiates weddings there.
Soon, he'll be able to host wine-tastings AND weddings, just like at Trinitas!
