My Mom wrote this in longhand before typing it later.
What? Did she give up on the iPad and magic Pencil?
Did she completely throw out the idea of using the "Dragon" program for transcribing?
The answer is No, and No.
Today's blog story before typing it.
She's going to Montana tomorrow and packed the magic pencil and iPad in her checked luggage.
She said she didn't want to take her iPad etc. and put it in a separate bin, blah blah blah, at TSA.
Frankly, she was afraid of losing the pencil!
My Mom has not been writing lately. Not because she has a block of some sort, she has been pre-occupied with her trip.
What I mean by pre-occupied is, mostly anxious.
If you know her, you wouldn't think of her as the anxious type, but for traveling, she kind of has to get her mindset comfortable with leaving our mountain lion Onyx,
organizing clothes, making sure all bills are paid and forgetting her worries, by watching shows e.g. 11 episodes of La Grande Maison Tokyo, on Netflix.
She loves Korean dramas but came across this Japanese drama.
A total mind distractor AND thoroughly enjoyable, because it dealt with Michelin Star(s) chefs and incredible foods.
Mom's also a foodie. She wishes she had a chef.
Frankly, who wouldn't want great food prepared for them from dawn til dusk.
Hey wait, that's what my Mom did for me and now for Onyx! It's a pretty sweet service.
A great Netflix series, especially if you're a foodie!
Before my Mom decides to get back to packing, I have to tell you that today she had the second part of a 6 week course on Animal Communication.
I don't think she needs it, since we definitely are on the same wavelength, but she wants to be able to communicate better with Onyx and other animals, and humans too.
Her teacher is Sharon Loy, she's an animal communicator (obviously).
This photo is from Sharon's website, she's so in tune!
I definitely will be writing more about her!
Talk soon!
