It's been a weird few days or even a week.

My Mom has agreed to working further with Patti Zorr our book marketer, because frankly, our new website is beautiful but it doesn't seem to have any get up and go, so to speak.

I think my Mom expected book sales to skyrocket and for people to stay engaged with what we are writing as blog stories, however that has not happened....yet.

Part of my Mom thinks she's throwing good money after bad but she's absolutely not the type of person to step back and not push forward.

Her former business partner, Sandy, once said, that my Mom is like "a dog on a mailman's leg".  She never gives up. So, like every other goal my Mom has ever had, she'll move forward to reach that goal.

She'll continue writing in hopes of opening people's hearts to the beauty of nature, animals, friendship, and maybe just life in general.

Both my Mom and Onyx have been sick this week.  I think Onyx got sick because my Mom wasn't up to snuff.

They're not 100%.  I think for my  Mom, her body has to adjust to her emotional state and the change of seasons.  Maybe it's just change in general and adjusting to all of it.

My Mom has to dig deep to gather up her energy to deal with our writing business and changes happening in the life of her friend who has Alzheimer's and changes in her relationships with others who she has always been close to.

Things are shifting and my Mom is sensitive to it, so much so that she takes to her bed or the sofa and does nothing, until she sorts things out in her mind, and heart.

But today is Sunday and she sees the horses on Sundays. She wants to pull herself together and go see them, not sure that she will, but I think she needs to. She gives them her strength and I think they give the same to her. I'll try to talk her into it.

My Mom never did make it to see the horses, but she was able to spend some time on the back deck with Onyx:

Onyx is very very comfortable on the deck, next to Mom

Life is short.  Be kind!  Love a lot!
