Many thanks dear friends, for supporting our focus on animal rescue.
We both thank you for your participation in our BLACK FRIDAY and CYBER MONDAY promotions!
And thank God for my Mom's interest in animal rescue!
If not for her, I might have spent far more than a few hours at AHS (Associated Humane Societies),
in Newark, on the day I was taken there by the Guttenberg police.
I've told that story in "RESCUED" our Book 2.
And I have relived that moment in time, many times through the years.
My Mom has described my look while standing in a caged run at the Rescue, as catatonic.
I think I'd agree.
Everything was kind of a blur for me, the night my first real Mom passed away.
I wasn't sure what was happening, from the moment she passed, until I was taken to the Rescue.
I'm not the only animal who has lost their caregiver, and subsequently been shuffled along to a strange place with other confused, lonely and frightened animals.
AHS was crowded, loud and clean.
I could not have been more fortunate to have only spent a very short period of time there, until my fate was sealed with my Mom.
It was as if my own Guardian Angel (probably my first real Mom) had created a circumstance of events that presented me to my Mom, gift-wrapped in Love and given with Love, without a moment of anguish in between, because it all happened so fast.
I think that's the energy of pure Love, swift and perfect, no hesitation, just straight giving, whole-hearted, full-throttle.
I left the physical Earth 9 years ago and spent just as many years before then, with my Mom.
She loved me before even meeting me, if you can possibly imagine that.
Maybe it's the same as loving a baby before they are born.
My Mom's heart would not rest until she found me and took me home on the day she heard about what happened to my first Mom.
Maybe her anxious heart wrapped itself around me to protect me with her love until she did find me.
I'm not sure, and maybe I'm just making up a good story.
But I'll tell you what, her love, whether imagined before she rescued me or not, was as real and powerful as real can be.
From the moment she laid eyes on me, standing frozen in time, in the first run, in a room filled with 3 dogs to a run, in Newark, New Jersey.
And I am ever grateful.
That's the reason we support animal rescue, it came with a ribbon, wrapped with Love.
Here are a bunch of photos of me, I hope you like them!
My Mom's darling Lois, and darling me
Dania's photo of me, which is on the back of every book of ours
How about that star on my nose?
Wherever you are, it should be cozy
Helping my Mom move into her new judge chambers
Thank you dear friends.
Much Love and gratitude for your support of our stories and animal rescue!
