Happy New Year from our corner of the world to yours!
Wow! Can you believe what a year 2024 was?
It was jam-packed with all sorts of newness.
My Mom and I (and of course mountain lion pussycat Onyx) are EXTREMELY excited about this New Year!
Why?
Nothing special, just EVERYTHING!
With fresh eyes, open ears, mouths agape, noses ready for new smells, hearts, minds and hands/paws open to receive every Blessing that comes our way!
EVERY day with a new dawn, a beautiful sky, hope in the air with adventures calling!
We can't wait to experience EVERYTHING whole-heatedly, holding nothing back and moving forward with wide-eyed wonder!
We're going to CHOOSE Love at every turn and in EVERY moment!
We're not going to lose a SECOND on anything that does not lift us up, lighten our load, increase our joy, improve our health, or make us laugh and smile!
Time's a wastin'!
Life is Short!
Love is all we have and all we need, from ourselves, our families, our friends, our neighbors, our acquaintances, our colleagues.
Love is medicinal, it's uplifting, it's nourishing, it's life-affirming, it's here, now, right where we sit, or stand or walk or run!
It's in front of us, to the sides of us, behind us, below and above us!
We simply have to See it, Choose it, Wish it, Want it and it is there!
Love is an intention to CHOOSE.
It is a lifestyle, a way of being, it's on this side of the Veil and on the other side of it.
It is expansive not restrictive, it is wholesome not feeble, it is strong not weak, it is waxing not waning, it is healing not aggravating, it is today not tomorrow, it is NOW, not later.
Can you feel it? See it? Touch it? Hear it? Smell it?
Love is EVERYWHERE and in every being, every tree, every rock, every blade of grass and flower, every drop of water, every breeze, every cloud.....
Wowee...I lost myself in all that.
But I think you get what I'm saying.
We've got an opportunity in every MOMENT to CHOOSE Love and not to choose anything that does not support our existence in a positive and beautiful way.
For as long as I can tell stories and my Mom gives me that opportunity,
I promise I will Choose only Love, to share with you.
