Opening one's heart to being Loved back, may bring tears.

January 29, 2025 Acupuncture and The Native American Indian Spirit.

January 29, 20256 min read

At meditation this morning, my Mom shared an experience she had at her acupuncturist's last week.

It needs telling!

So, my Mom was all needled up by Gina, and then Gina left the room. (Gina is Dr. Gina Wyneken.)

Gina and my Mom have, from time to time, spoken about their belief that there is a Native American spirit in the office.

Have I told you this before?

As I was saying, and by the way, I go with my Mom to these appointments, Gina left the room and my Mom was settling in for a relaxing sort of meditative time on the treatment table.

The room was comfortably warm, the lights were out and some gentle music was playing in the background.

My Mom started to deep breathe and she thought she'd ask (in her mind), if the native fellow was in the room.

A few minutes later, my Mom felt his presence.

If you have a hard time imagining that, hold on, here it comes....he brought his horse.

Now, this is happening with my Mom's eyes closed, so I guess you could say she is picturing this in her mind.

I'm not shocked by this because of course, I am a spirit.

But I must admit, this was impressive.

The guy brought along his horse.

We don't know his name or his horse's name.

The native American usually is present in his native garb, no shirt, necklace of things, pants of some type of skin, his hair is dark and braided to one side and this day he held a staff of some sort.

His horse was blonde-colored, very pretty and very gentle.

Well, the horse came to the side of the table my Mom was on and started to kind of nibble, sort of kissing my Mom, from the top of her head, her left arm and leg and her feet.

The horse was very careful not to touch any of the very thin acupuncture needles.

A non-spirit horse might have a hard time avoiding the needles, not this horse.

My Mom was so happy to have the man visit but to bring his horse, made my Mom smile big.

But once the horse started "kissing" my Mom, my Mom's heart burst wide open and tears began to slide down both sides of her face, for a long time.

My Mom felt that this horse was thanking her for her care of the horses she visits, on Sundays, in Gardnerville, at the Sheridan Creek Equestrian Center.

My Mom also felt that the horse was telling her that her hands were healing.

This also made the tears roll.

When my Mom was relaying the story to Gina, my Mom had the thought that if her hands were healing, then maybe when she writes, that the words she writes are healing too.

We like to think that.

We wonder if you think so too.

Let us know.

Speaking of spirits and of Love, the spirit of Rudie, my favorite dogwalker besides Rudie's Dad, Mario, will always be in my heart and in my Mom's.

Rudie passed away, way too soon.

The photo at the top of this post, is of Rudie's gravestone.

My Mom thought that this post needed a photo.

She searched her photos for something with a Heart, and this photo came up.

The word "Heart", on the stone, was highlighted in the search.

Perfect.

Thanks for reading.
