February 25, 2025 Part One: A Two Nighter at Costanoa, in Pescadero, California, It's on The Coast.
As my Mom would say, "Oh, my Lord". That's because she counted almost 30 photos she'd like to include in this post.
So, I better get writing but I think this will have to be in 2 parts, maybe 3!
Firstly, my Mom and Robin (her sister), went to the lodge at Costanoa, which is on the southern coast about 4 and a half hours from Lake Tahoe.
Everything's a drive in California, have you ever looked at it on a map?
It's almost the size of most of the East coast!
We met up with their brother Mark and his wife Barbara for 2 nights.
I wonder sometimes if they all realize that I go along on these trips.
Well, if they don't, they soon find out after I've written about it!
I went because frankly, Onyx pays absolutely no attention to what I have to say, and I couldn't bear seeing her act like she never met Cayla, her sitter, before.
And, just to get this out of the way, Onyx was not nice to Cayla or when she was, then she wasn't, on the next visit.
That cat is peculiar to say the least.
Thank God we were only away 2 nights.

We have lots of photos taken at the beach where we all went the day after we arrived.
Please enjoy, that Pacific Ocean is beautiful.
It was so clear, I think I saw Hawaii.
The trip was short but filled with good food and drink (too much for my Mom on the first night, Oy!) and many, many laughs.

This is Pigeon Point Light Station, it's being renovated
Costanoa has goats on the property and in the warmer weather, horses!
Life is short! Experience new places, new foods, new sights, new sounds!
And most of all, smile at everyone, including their companion animals!
