Hi! back again, with the third piece.
Faralli, privately owned and a bit dirty from rolling around, doesn't have the one on one from anyone that I am aware of.
Apparently his owner is not that hands on.
So, my Mom is very happy to engage with him, even if it's only for treats and a chat.
He lives with Liam, who was leased by a woman who now owns her own horse but I do think she checks on him.
Faralli, we do love you
This next photo is of all 4 of the guys we visit:
Faralli is in the forefront, Liam back at the left and my Mom's groomees,
Wiki and Scooter to the right.
Scooter has the white strip on his muzzle.
These 4, kind of make up their own herd
My Mom wanted me to mention what happened this day when she groomed Wiki and Scooter.
As Mom has mentioned before, she's very aware of where the horses are at all times, when there is more than one horse in a paddock.
For instance, one horse may want all the attention for grooming, and the other horse will have to lay back and not interfere, which has happened a lot.
Well, this week, these two boys actually took turns with my Mom, almost like an eighth grade dance where the boys take turn dancing with a girl.
That's what my Mom said anyway.
Here, my Mom started to brush one side of Scooter and noticed Wiki rather close by, so she moved to Wiki's side and brushed that side.
She then went back to Scooter and brushed his other side while Wiki waited patiently.
Once finished, she went back to Wiki to brush his other side.
This taking turns thing seemed to satisfy both boys, with neither one trying to butt in on the other's time with my Mom.
This new way of grooming seemed to work well.
But, every visit is a new experience, we'll see how it goes next time!
You'll be the first to know!
On this same day, Glenn Roberson, Kristen's Dad, (ranch owners), told my Mom
that if she would drive North a little bit, she would be able to see cattle that had given birth to their calves.
Well, she did just that.
Here are some photos of that side adventure.
One family group was staring at my Mom, or me, not sure.
And the stand alone photo is of a youngster
who was trying to "Mooooooo" my Mom away from the fenceline.
My Mom is pretty sure the little guy's "Moooo", wasn't a greeting but a big boy warning to stay away from his Mama and sibs.

If you don't mind, I have a few other photos to share:
a few dogs and a California sunrise.
This first pup belongs to my Mom's friend Sandra's, daughter....phew.
His name is Rocky. He was recently rescued and looks pretty happy about it.
Home Sweet Home
Here's a San Francisco sunrise,
taken from my Mom's brother Mark's apartment, by him.

Remember Robin's ward Cosmo, the gentleman?
He's a little ball-obsessed.

And lastly, my Mom's darling "Lolo" (she lives in Florida with her Dads).
Lois was having some hip and walking issues but she now is raring to go, now that she has some new medication!
Darling Lois
Well, all three parts, with lots of photos relating to our life here
and from others who are a part of my Mom's life, and mine, are complete.
We hope you enjoyed the stories! Thank you for reading them!
Keep your eyes and hearts open to both receive and show love!
Loads of Love,
from me and my Mom ❤️
