Sunday was my Mom's meditation group's Fall Retreat.
It was at our neighbor Chris' house, which was very convenient, since it was raining and cold, and he lives next door!
He couldn't be present.
How nice was that to offer his place?
Thanks Chris!
Such a wonderful group of people. My Mom is so happy to belong to this community, of compassionate, loving people.
Here's everybody!

Fall Retreat 2025
They had 3 different meditation sessions: the first was a quiet one; the second was a walking meditation, (people actually went outside!), my Mom chose to stay in and walk around Chris' very big house.
I just thought of this, people can probably do walking meditation on a treadmill, (hmm maybe with a spotter); the third meditation was a total relaxation one with Karla, (our meditation group "leader"), leading a guided meditation.
My Mom says it's cool meditating as a community. I can only imagine the beautiful energy, swirling around that group.
This very hard work of meditation, needed to be followed by, my Mom's favorite part of any time a few people are gathered....Food!!
What a group of cooks!! It seems my Mom has friends who all Love to cook! She says Thank God!
My Mom reminded everyone in the group, that everyone can't be a hero! There have to be people on the sidelines, cheering the heroes on! That's my Mom, she said she Loves being the taster, and cheering on all the great cooks!
There were 2 beautiful soups, by Karla and Patty; salads by Nadine and Kate; homemade bread that morning, by Nadine; there were veggies and homemade hummus by Bonnie; couscous too, by Lori!

A Retreat Feast!
And then, the desserts! These meditators are unbelievable! Pumpkin spice cookies by Mike's wife Charmaine, thanks Charmaine! Thanks for carrying them Mike!; pumpkin pie by John (my favorite); a beautiful apple galette by Nadine!
Can't keep that girl out of the kitchen.
She says that cooking is her Love language.
Great choice!
But no photo!!
Google "galette" and you'll see Nadine's masterpiece!; a strawberry almond tart by Kate!; Oh! and tapioca by Jen! (my Mom was given the leftovers (thanks Jen!).

Life is short, eat dessert first!
There were so many beautiful teas. My Mom tasted Kate's actual dried rosebuds, and elderberries, she said the tea was a wonder!
The theme of the retreat was "Welcome". Welcoming all aspects of ourselves, and embracing the same in others. A sort of "Thinning of the Veil" of indifference. Seeing a oneness, connectedness in all things.
A little different but maybe the same, as the veil in my Book 4, "The Thinning of the Veil".
We're also connected to ascended Masters, spiritual teachers and our ancestors. We certainly aren't traveling these roads alone!
They also shared personal stories of other dimensions, and synchronicities, and everyone seems to believe that there are truly no coincidences.
It was a very open minds and hearts retreat.
The rain made for a very restful time, seeing that Fall, is truly a time of rest for the Earth.
And apparently for Onyx too!
Knowing our Mom was next door meditating, exhausted her!

Mom! You were gone for soooo long.
And there you have it.
Thank you for being interested, we really appreciate it.
Until next time...
"Life is short, and we have not too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are traveling the dark days with us.
Oh, be swift to Love!
Make haste to be Kind."
And Robin's Alfie agrees!

Shh....he's meditating
All Love,
Maisy❤️
